Cold Asphalt of Aglomerados GB

Composition

  • Type: Cold hardening asphalt agglomerate
  • Materials: Mixture of porphyry aggregates and cationic emulsions
  • Granulometry from 3 to 6 mm
  • Features: High adaptability and compactness, suitable for all types of surfaces
  • Coverage: Approximately 1 square meter per 25kg cube with a layer thickness of 1.5cm (maximum layer without limit)

quality control

  • Carried out by: Testing Laboratory of the Official College of Technical Surveyors of Alicante
  • Purpose: Define the classification as Cold Bituminous Mixture according to Art. 541 of the General Technical Prescription Specifications for Road and Bridge works
  • Quality Coefficient: Measured by the Los Angeles test (NLT-149/72) is seventeen, complying with the maximums established in the PG-3
  • Bituminous Binder Content: 5.25%, within the values allowed for dense mixtures

Storage and Maintenance

  • Recommended Temperature: Higher than 5ºC
  • Shelf life: 8 to 12 months in tightly sealed buckets

Security / Transportation

  • Fire Fighting Measures: Any means appropriate to the type of fire, without specific risks
  • Measures in Case of Accidental Spill: Individual precautions not required, environmental precautions to avoid spills, cleaning by collecting and reusing if possible or covering with sand and disposing of as debris
  • Handling and Storage: Careful handling, without compatibility problems of packaging materials
  • Toxicological Information: Inhalation, ingestion, contact with skin and eyes may irritate, without sensitizing, carcinogenic, mutagenic or reproductive effects described.
